Day 58 – Spring

Although Spring is officially still 10 days away, today I am feeling Spring in the air. It’s a balmy 43 degrees outside today and tomorrow is going to be almost 50! Sounds weird to be excited for the 40’s and 50’s but I literally have been in a tank top all day. Obviously outdoors a sweater is still needed but inside it’s a tank top kind of day- yay!

So, although I wasn’t planning to do this until April 1st, for my intention today I am bringing out my Spring and Summer clothes. I am trading out many of mine and Vinny’s extreme winter gear, only leaving a minimal few items just in case. This is also the time I go through all of our clothes and shoes and donate any and all items no longer being used as often.
I think it’s so much fun to open each bin that has been carefully tucked away for the last few months, only to reveal some of my favorite Spring and Summer items: the pretty mint greens and lovely corals that were so popular the last couple of seasons. The Aztec, floral, pinstripe and chevron prints I also loved so much. And although not all pieces will make my 2015 Spring/Summer Sarah Collection (lol), I am sure to combine certain key pieces that will be ever so carefully mixed and matched with the additions soon to come from this season. This season I believe I will be incorporating more sun dresses vs. shorts or capris. I love sun dresses- easy, breezy, dainty and fun to accessorize with.

Anyhow, I also enjoyed pulling out my swimsuits, beach towels, flip flops and other summer gear that will be needed soon enough. This may have been a pinch premature but I am just so excited for Spring and Summer to be here!! Beach days, flip flops, bike rides, farmers markets, tons of tourists buzzing around, picnics, concerts, flowers in bloom, baseball games at Fenway, pool parties and cookouts, spending days in Boston and so much more!! With today’s intention I indeed feel one step closer. #Spring/Summer  #thebestisyettocome
