Day 299 – Postcards

Happy Friday! Today was a really good day. I decided to do something nostalgic for my intention today. With all the social media, texting, tweeting and whatnot- I sometimes find myself missing the tangible, good old fashioned letters. I receive them here and there and each time I do, I smile so big and enjoy sitting down to open it, read it and even reread it. So, I thought it would be fun to give some people I care about the same experience. To take it one step further, I decided to send postcards. Although you see postcards still being sold in little towns like mine, does anyone really send them anymore? They are simple but so much fun.

I decided to send four postcards today. I think it will be neat when those receiving them go to get their mail and have something that personal in their box waiting for them. The pictures on the postcards were a perfect representation of my town. They were colorful, bright and happy. I hope they truly brighten the day of the recipients. #Cheers #HGAL
