Day 60 – BINGO!!

Last week my friend Jen invited me to go tonight with the group of girls from the social club to go play Bingo at a local pub down the road from us on the wharf. We met up this evening and walked over. There were some of the same ladies and a couple of different ladies there tonight. I must admit, I had an absolute blast!

The buzz of the bar/pub, the MC calling out the numbers and joking around, people winning prizes and so on- just a great atmosphere. For a bit of the time we really weren’t even truly playing. I’d catch every 2^nd or 3^rd number called out, but we were just too busy talking and laughing and hanging out. Jen and I even made a little flower out of our bingo chips. LOL

By the end of the night, we all decided that for the last game of the night we would listen and play. The winning prize was a $50 gift certificate at the pub. You had to get 2 lines on one card to win. Guess what? I WON!  I yelled out my Bingo just as 2 other people did. We all went up to the MC and he decided to play a movie trivia game to decide who would win the prize. Guess what? I WON!  I answered 2 questions correctly with the second one being shouted out before the girl I was up against could. The group of ladies I was there with were cheering away and Jen was front and center taking pics and cheering me on. Honestly, it was awesome! I am thankful to be a part of such a fun group of ladies and especially having Jen so close. Great day, great intention, great win!! #HGAL
