Day 56 – Sweepstakes

Vinny and I began our day with a nice beach stroll, sun blaring- air brisk. We ran some errands and enjoyed our morning and early afternoon together. Then we went to the supermarket for a little grocery shopping. This particular market just happens to have a Monopoly Sweepstakes game going on. There are quite a few things to win with a grand prize of $1M!!

Now, I have played my fair share of scratch tickets and lottery tickets over the years (here and there). I don’t get crazy with it but I’ve participated at times and even won a few hundred bucks a few times. I haven’t played anytime recently though. Anyhow, the one thing I have never done is play games or sweepstakes at grocery stores or participating retailers….until now. For today’s intention I have decided to throw my hat into the ring.

The cashier at the supermarket gave me a huge stack of playing cards. When we got home and situated- after having a nice big late lunch, Vinny and I ripped the perforated pieces, moistened and affixed the matching game pieces as required. We were kidding around and preemptively spending our million dollar prize! What’s life without a little whimsy right?!?!

I just really think that even the smallest intentions are important in embracing every opportunity life grants us. Who knows…maybe we’ll win big! You don’t know unless you play, right? #HGAL
