Day 149 – Son Time

Today was so, so busy. It was a great day but just incredibly jam packed. But I did find time to carve out gym time which was very nice. Anyhow, I found myself sitting down after dinner and saying “Ok, intention time.” Just then I realized that Vinny and I were in the living room and Elijah was in his room. I assumed he was playing video games and I figured for my intention I would go and join him. I am most definitely NOT a video game person but the kids and I had so much fun on Mother’s Day playing video games together for a portion of the day, that I figured I would give it another try.

I went into his room and he was actually just watching a movie. I asked him, “Hey hon, wanna play a video game with me?” He sprung up, smiling and was shocked but instantly said yes. I told him whatever he wanted to play was fine with me. So we played Tekken Tag Team Tournament.

I love hanging out with my kiddos- they are just so fun to be around. Elijah taught me a bunch of stuff and I had fun playing for a while. The best part was just spending time with him and having fun- and really…..isn’t that the joy of life??? Family, Friends, Food and Fun- Embrace it now and every day-- #HGAL #LiveLaughLove #kiddotime
