The planes, the tricks, the show, the food, the drinks, the
people, the sun and breeze from the ocean made the day perfection. We ate
sausages with peppers and fried dough and walked amongst the thousands and
thousands of people to see the planes on display and all the activities and
items for sale. We brought our beach chairs, found a spot and sat for a while
to just take in the show. At one point I did need my ear plugs when the F16
broke the sound barrier. The Blue Angels were there to perform and there were
teams from USA, France and Canada and what a show they put on!! There was even
a WWII plane doing tricks that absolutely made my heart skip a beat – these guys
are so brave and I appreciated every single second of our viewing experience.
After we left, we went out for a bite to eat then went to
see the new movie: San Andreas. What a heart pumping, action filled, great
movie! When we came back to the house, Lena was outside with a friend of hers
and I hung out for a bit which was nice. Nestled in at the house now with
Vinny, sliders open- air breezing in- embracing some much needed R & R,
this is the perfect way to end a tip top day with another fun filled intention
on a beautiful weekend day!! #lifeisgoodLIVEIT #HGAL In memory of my lifelong best friend and cousin who was taken by cancer in 2011, I will be chronicling the next 365 days of my life to live with intention and do something each and every day with my life in her memory.

Day 139 – Air Show
Rhode Island has been all a buzz about the Annual Quonset
Air Show. It’s only a 30 min drive from our home and I told Vinny I most definitely
wanted to go for today’s intention. Initially between traffic and whatnot it
took about 2 hours to get all the way into the grounds but our spirits were
high and Vinny and I just had fun hanging out and chatting with people around
us. OMG it was SO worth the wait!!
