Day 131 – Going Bananas

Today was good and busy but it's Friday and tonight is date night! Elijah is out with friends at the movies and Vinny and I went out for dinner, drinks and dessert. We headed over to our favorite restaurant where the people know us, the food is always amazing and the drinks are simply perfection.

Over our dinner conversation, I told Vinny that I still needed to do something for my blog tonight. So for dessert tonight we decided to go bananas- we opted for a delicious banana treat for my intention. It was some sort of fried dough shell with ice cream, warm bananas with cinnamon and a mound of whip cream on top. The entire treat was sitting atop a thick layer of caramel sauce that was to die for!!

After walking home (which by the way is awesome to live a few blocks away from our favorite spot), we are now going to snuggle in for movie time. I am excited for my long weekend ahead and kicking it off with a date night with my hubby is the best way I can think to begin it all perfectly. #HGAL #cheerstodatenight #happyMemorialDayweekend
