So I was quite excited to have received the invitation a
while back to attend today’s performance and obviously quickly agreed. We have
never been to this particular theatre and when we pulled up we were instantly impressed
with the nostalgic feel of the building, marquee, will call and ticket box. But
this was nothing compared to when we stepped inside. No detail was left out.
From the beautiful detailed walls and ceilings, carpeting, fireplace,
fountains, statues, seating and believe it or not….even the bathrooms with the
designated attached room with plush seating, multiple mirrors and area for prep
and primp.
We took our seats and enjoyed the show. The kids did such an
amazing job. Afterwards we met up with our friends and greeted their daughter
with flowers we bought for her as a “congratulations”. This was a great
intention and a lovely nostalgic kind of Sunday. #HGALIn memory of my lifelong best friend and cousin who was taken by cancer in 2011, I will be chronicling the next 365 days of my life to live with intention and do something each and every day with my life in her memory.

Day 308 – Annie
Today for my intention, Vinny and I went to see our friends’
daughter in the lead role of the play Annie. I just LOVE this play! I have a
vivid memory of my sister singing “Tomorrow” to Heather to sleep at night when
we were kids. My sister has such a beautiful voice and Heather always looked so
forward to that. I remember her and I acting out “It’s a hard knock life” and
other songs, too. I also remember my
parents taking us to see the play Annie in Chicago when we were kids, which was
a real treat. We had the record and I knew every word to every song! (I still
know most) Lol
