Other than leaving for church, we stayed in all day. We
watched some shows, cooked together and enjoyed a truly lovely day of much
needed R & R and family time. I decided to try something new for my
intention today. I have never made candy apples. I opted for a bite sized
version to make for my first go round with this tasty fall dessert.
My mom had come over for dinner and she helped as well. We
chopped apples, and rolled them in the delicious caramel warming on the stove.
It was a simple intention but truly delish. I paired them with some festive
candy and a large apple and it made for a great way to display the treats for
my family. #Cheers #HGAL #HappyNovemberIn memory of my lifelong best friend and cousin who was taken by cancer in 2011, I will be chronicling the next 365 days of my life to live with intention and do something each and every day with my life in her memory.

Day 294 – Candy Apples
Hello November and Happy Sunday! Today was such a much
needed relaxing kind of day. With the time change, I was happy to begin my day
by picking up an extra hour of sleep. When we did wake up, it was raining and
gray outside so Vinny and I snuggled in on the couch and enjoyed our nice hot
coffee. I love rainy days but I especially love them when I can be inside.
