We got to their house and just hung out for a while. They
live right on the water and it is absolutely beyond beautiful. With the wall to
wall windows looking out onto the water and fireplace going, it was picturesque as we all sat around
talking, catching up and enjoying our down time.
We headed over to the Mashpee Commons which is an awesome
shopping and recreational area in the afternoon. We stopped for smoothies, did
some window shopping and the guys even took part in a little impromptu corn
hole. Later this evening we went out to eat at an amazing Mediterranean restaurant
which just happened to be on the evening they had live Greek music. The music
was festive and set the scene perfectly. The food was top notch, the company
was even better and this was just the kind of day that makes you happy to be
alive. Afterwards, we all headed over to the movies.
I just love the Cape. It’s so quaint and everything seems to
be done just right. It’s a slow kind of beach town area and absolutely ageless.
It’s awesome that our friends have their beach house on the Cape and we are
always invited and welcome. Cheers to great friends, an awesome weekend, East
Coast living and Day 300!!! #HGAL
