I do not plan out all of my intentions- I quite enjoy the spontaneity
of them as often as possible. So, with that I asked him to get in the car and
come with me for a new idea.
I drove us over to the nearest Dunkin Donuts to get some
nice hot cider. Vinny opted for hot chocolate but I went with the apple cider. It
was the perfect cider kind of evening- overcast and a bit chilly. We headed right
on down to the beach. I told him I just wanted to sit together in the cool
evening air- on the wall that was separating us from the high tide and just
have our drinks, chat and relax into our evening. Dinner was cooking at home
and the night was ours. We sat there talking and sipping our warm fall-time
drinks, breathing in the ocean air and watching a couple of surfers.
By the time we left, he was smiling and said he felt so much
better. Sometimes what may seem like a bad day just requires reflection, perspective
and a change of pace and scenery certainly helps as well.
I am so happy that my impromptu intention helped turned my
hubby’s bad day into a wonderful night. #Cheers #oceanairhelpseverything #HGAL
