For today’s intention I decided to participate in a contest.
It really wasn’t a big deal but fact of the matter is I normally wouldn’t have
entered had it not been for this blog. I was done with what I needed to do at
the library and on the way out I noticed a big blue sheep on top of a table with
an entry box and signs all around. I walked on by. Then I thought about it and
turned back and decided to simply participate. It would only take a moment of
my time and would keep me engaged and a part of the life going on around me.
The idea was to name the sheep for the library. So I grabbed
an entry form and the first thing that came to mind, I entered on my slip. I
thought the sheep should be named “Betty Blue”. Get it? Kinda like Betty Boop
but Blue? I thought it was gitchy and cute.
So there it is. A simple intention on a busy day but enough to
make me pause and remember the point of this blog….intentional daily living.
