I chose the Cherry Almond scent with the lighthouse soap
mold, which represents Newport in a certain way to me. The employee heated up
the wax, I chose and added the scent and the color (glittery pink but of course).
After I poured it in the mold and paid, we took some pics after talking to the
girl that worked there for a few minutes and headed out to enjoy the rest of
our day.
This was truly a great day. This intention was a unique and
fun experience. Cheers to the weekend ahead!! #HGAL #HappyFridayIn memory of my lifelong best friend and cousin who was taken by cancer in 2011, I will be chronicling the next 365 days of my life to live with intention and do something each and every day with my life in her memory.

Day 159 – Making Soap
Today my mom and I went to a local company down the road
from me called The Newport Sea Foam Trading Company to make soap. I just love
this store. The quaint atmosphere, soothing music, friendly service and inviting
aromas are so amazing. From the moment you walk in this store, you can walk to
the left to the room where you make homemade soap or to the right to go to the
main store with all of the soaps, scrubs, candles, body sprays and so on. I
have purchased products here before but never made my own soap. So today was
the day…
