Day 99 – Apothic Crush

Hello Monday! Today I found myself thinking a lot about Heather. Heather’s first AZ party when she had her first drink with me. When I took her for her first time floating down the Salt River in AZ, drinking the day away- soaking in the sun and embracing friends, family, fun and life. I thought about the first time we went to California together and I told her how much I wanted to live there one day (which we each ended up living in California at one time in our lives). I thought of our time at Disneyland, Grand Canyon, Vegas, Chicago, Tempe and Scottsdale clubbing days and so much more. I smiled so big thinking back on the days Heather, her hubby and I (and when I met Vinny, him too!) would hang out drinking, joking, cooking, eating, laughing and just enjoying life.

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t classify us as big drinkers or anything but when we would have a couple together and let loose the fun was so real. Heather and I were silly with or without alcohol but we loved to drink together as well. So, today I made a quick stop to my local package store to pick up one of my new favorite wines. I totally have a crush on the very appropriately named “Apothic Crush” (lol). It’s a Limited Edition, smooth and amazing.

Vinny and I toasted to Heather and my day was complete. I miss my cousin and friend. I miss her smile, her laugh and her pure presence. I am proud to have been such a major part of her life and today I am celebrating her. I am thinking of the fun we had, the smiles we shared and the memories we created. Cheers! #HGAL
