After that, we came back up to our place. Us girls went out
to the deck to enjoy the scene, the sunshine and conversation. We toasted to
the first of many days to come this spring/summer season of us all getting
together. The guys were inside watching sports- talking, laughing and just
hanging out. This was a great weekend and I am happy to have included our
friends, Steve and Kathy in both of my weekend intentions.
As I sit here writing this and winding down from a busy,
bustling weekend I see the sun setting and lighting my home up in a brilliant
orange/pink hue. I am appreciative for each and every day I am blessed to spend
with friends and family and having the opportunity to continually meet new
people in my area. But at this very moment, I am also pausing to appreciate the
two days of sunshine and warmer weather and look forward to my week ahead.
#HGALIn memory of my lifelong best friend and cousin who was taken by cancer in 2011, I will be chronicling the next 365 days of my life to live with intention and do something each and every day with my life in her memory.

Day 91 – On the town
Today we had our friends over to come with us to enjoy this
beautiful, sunny day out and about in our town of Newport, RI. There were
people absolutely everywhere and the town was a buzz! We walked around, looked
in some shops, stopped for lunch and even had Elephant Ears (probably one of
the best desserts ever) at our local fudge shop. The guy was in the shop, stirring
up and making the fresh fudge and it smelled divine and was a neat sight.
